Biography
Dr. J. L. Sarkar is an Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Techno College of Engineering, Agartala, Tripura, India. He received M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, India; and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Engineering from Tripura University (A Central University), Tripura, India. He has completed his Post Doctoral research from National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan. His research interests include Software-Defined Networks, Internet of Things, Recommendation Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Health Informatics. He has published more than 70 research papers in different refereed international journals, conferences and book chapters. Dr. Sarkar has been awarded the best paper award by several renowned international conferences. He was awarded the best reviewer by the Digital Communication Network, Elsevier. He has worked as a security administrator at the NIC Tripura State Centre of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India. He has been invited keynote speaker and panellist in multiple global conferences and panel discussions. He serves in various capacities in multiple global conferences such as MICA 2022, ICACIE 2022, IEEE ANTS etc. in the domains of communications, networking, and machine intelligence. He has also received numerous prestigious travel grants to attend conferences, workshops, and meetings around the world. He is currently serving as a review editor in Frontiers in the Internet of Things, Lausanne, Switzerland and collaborate with an expert research community in IoT Services and Applications a specialty section led by Prof. Zhihan Lv and Prof. Debashis De. Dr. Sarkar is currently serving as an editor of International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms, Inderscience, International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering, Inderscience and section editor of Smart Tourism, Asia Pacific Academy of Science. Dr. Sarkar is also serving as a Co-director of IEEE MMTC Communication Frontier.
